Mauro Levrin Bianco (Italy)
Classical Guitar

Born in Turin, Mauro Levrin Bianco graduated from the Conservatory under the guidance of Professors Mario Dell’Ara and Mario Bricca. He developed a particular interest and specialization in early 19th-century guitar music, and later approached the Suzuki Method, completing the five-year teacher training program and obtaining ESA (European Suzuki Association) certification as a Level 5 Suzuki Guitar Teacher (Suzuki Diploma). He was subsequently appointed as a Teacher Trainer for the macro-regions of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Throughout his career, he has served as a music teacher at the Sacred Heart Institute of Turin and has been a member of the jury for the “International Competition of the Academy of Classical Guitar in Milan” on multiple occasions. He has also collaborated with the Berkeley Opera Orchestra and the Italian American Museum Foundation of San Francisco (California, USA).

His musical teaching activities for preschool and elementary school children have received positive reviews from RAI Radio 3 and various other media outlets, including the newspapers La Stampa and The San Francisco Chronicle.

Although his concert activity has remained secondary to his teaching, it has offered him the opportunity to perform with several distinguished musicians, including tenor Francesco Sai (collaborator with I Solisti Veneti), cellist Enrico Dindo, and flutist Marlaena Kessick.

Among his most notable projects is the production of the CD Solo un Tema Semplice, recorded by his young and very young guitar students and presented on the RAI Radio 3 program Primo Movimento. He also co-translated Dr. Shinichi Suzuki’s book Ability Development from Age Zero and translated the essay Azusa Yumi by Japanese violinist Shozo Matsumoto.

Mauro Levrin Bianco lives in the metropolitan area of Turin. In addition to his work as a Suzuki guitar teacher, he currently serves as a Teacher Trainer for the national Suzuki associations of Lithuania (LSA), Germany (SMD), and Italy (ISI).
